Anonymous said: Hello there! First, i want to say that your art is truly one of the most pretty things i've seen. If you don't mind, i have a doubt. How do you make good colorful line art? I use the "Preserve Opacity" on SAI, but when i color the drawing inside, the line art gets marks of that coloring. I admire your coloring and lineart, so i thought you were a good person to clarify my question. Once again, i admire your work very much, and thank you!

Hi! Since I’m using SAI in Japanese, I have no idea what those tools called in English. So I might not be able to be help for you :( I’ll try to explain though.

Make a new layer on the line art layer, and there should be three check boxes on the top of layers, check the second box.

Then the new layer icon should turn pink. And you can color only on the line art that is underneath.

I’m not good at organizing even for layers so I usually just color each part on one layer.

I hope it helps you! Thank you <3

By the way thank you all who sent me superb messages!! They make me the happiest girl in the world when I read em :>
I tried to use tumblr as my gallery so I reply only if it’s actual questions.
How ever I’m re considering about that.

Hi! I use SAI pretty much for all the digital drawings. And I just draw with default blush tools. Nothing really special.

To draw the straight lines, for me it’s not good to draw tiny bit lines to make pretty straight lines. Keep redrawing lines with big strokes instead until I like them.

We’ll be right back!

Nah, by the way didn’t know there’s such thing.

I’m too lazy to think about “designing” for products if it’s not actual work.
